Association Degree

An Associate’s Degree is typically pursued by students whose circumstances have stopped them from earning their high school diploma; several programs are available for individuals who choose to pursue this degree, subject to enough class enrollment. To enroll in an Associate’s Degree program, students must have a certificate from the national high school exam (whether or not they passed). An Associate Degree requires two years of full-time study.

After completing an Associate’s Degree, a student can enroll in a Bachelor’s Degree in the same subject and apply some of the credits earned for the Associate’s Degree to their Bachelor’s program. The IBI follows the credit system utilized by American universities. Students who are pursuing an Associate’s degree at another university may choose to complete their degree at IBI, where they can apply up to 24 transfer credits from their previous university toward a degree at IBI, provided that their grades are satisfactory and comparable courses are available at IBI.
